On May 15, 2017 Mrs. Mwanasiti Omar Mwagololi together with her son Omar Hussein Chigabunya visited our offices and requested for Education Assistance towards the son.
Below is the narration of our conversation:-
The family of Mrs. Mwanasiti Omar Mwagololi and Mr. Rajab Hussein Chigabunya are requesting well-wishers to assist them take their son, Omar Hussein Chigabunya (16yrs) who sat for KCPE last year at Mwamanga Primary School and obtained 283 marks but has not joined Form One in Shimoni Sec School where he was called to.
The father is a freelance carpenter but had an accident at work and was subsequently diagnosed with diabetes which has incapacitated him that he can't work.
The family's efforts to acquire bursary have not been fruitful after being advised by the county government to take the boy to school before he could be assisted.
The chance offered at Shimoni Secondary School has since been taken but the boy secured another chance in Gombato Secondary School.
The school policy doesn't allow admission before payment so this too didn't bear fruits.
It's against this background that the family calls on well wishers to help raise Kshs. 50,000 to cater for school fees, uniform, a pair of shoes, books and meals for one year.
